The Filo Sur Project is a 100 sq km copper-gold-silver exploration property located on the eastern flank of the Andes Cordillera, straddling the Argentina–Chile border in the prolific Vicuña mining district. Mogotes Metals began exploration in late 2022, identifying multiple new targets in a region with a strong track record of discoveries. Minimal prior work had been conducted before Mogotes’ entry.
